N68711-00-B-8064, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CRANES AND HOISTS, at the MARINE CORPS BASE, CAMP PENDLETON, CA and NAVAL WEAPONS STATION SEAL BEACH, DETACHMENT FALLBROOK, FALLBROOK, CA. -- This is a combined Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) and Indefinite-Quantity (IQ) contract. -- The intention of this solicitation is to obtain preventive maintenance inspections (PMI), preventive maintenance service (PMS), non-destructive testing of crane hooks and elevated crane trackage, repairs, load testing, calibration and certification of overhead cranes, hoists and weight handling equipment (WHE). All cranes at Naval facilities to be maintained in accordance with NAVFAC P-307, and all other cranes, hoists and weight handling equipment maintained in accordance with OSHA standards and regulations. All work under this contract is subject to Service Contract Act wages. The work includes verifying the weight handling equipment inventory provided in the solicitation, and providing all labor, tools, gauges, materials, equipment, transportation, management, supervision, and incidental engineering needed to perform on-site work in accordance with contract requirements, as recommended by equipment manufacturers and according to standard industry practice. The work also includes responding to unscheduled service calls and to perform minor repairs and indefinite quantity repairs as ordered by Task Order issued by the Contracting Officer. Work on additional equipment may be ordered under Indefinite Quantity (IQ) Task Orders as required. The contract term will be for a base period of one (1) year, with four (4) additional one (1) year option periods. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. New contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR.
