The National Institute for Literacy (NIFL) has a requirement for technical assistance for public policy, which will include the production and dissemination of a publication series on literacy-related public policy issues at the state level; and to assist in carrying out other policy-related tasks and responsibilities. Tasks for this requirement include researching, writing, and disseminating three policy analysis reports; presenting work at a national literacy conference; updating and modifying the NIFL policy web pages; and assisting with other projects related to literacy policy. All requests for the RFP shall reference the RFP number RFP-00-005. The expected release date of this RFP is on or about August 2, 2000, and the closing date is September 1, 2000.
