Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) through the
Program Support Center, General Acquisitions Branch intends to award a
thirteen month sole source Simplified Acquisition to the Jefferson
Institute for Justice Studies in Washington, D.C. for Technical
Assistance and Consultation on Federal Protocols for Training and
Technical Assistance in Incidents of Mass Criminal Victimization.
Educational and training materials will be developed for mental health
professionals working with Federal law enforcement in the immediate
intervention, stabilization, and long term recovery of victims of mass
criminal victimization. The Contractor will design and pilot test
training modules focusing on the psychosocial needs of crime victims.
