Original synopsis submission no. 473918, dated July 12, 2000, at 13:08 is modified to delete original description and insert the following description: Purchase of gaseous oxygen and argon and rental of cylinders. Oxygen to be UHP 99.99% minimum purity and argon to be UHP 99.99% minimum purity. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded for one base year with four (4) one year options. Delivery will be FOB Destination to NOB Norfolk, Virginia. This solicitation will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. All options will be evaluated with the base period. In addition, for purposes of evaluation of offers received, a 10% preference will be given to HUBZONE contractors. The solicitation number is N00181-00-Q-E051. The SIC is 2813 and size standard is 1000. Response date for submission of offers, quantities, and required delivery schedules will be established in solicitation. Fax or phone requests for solicitation packages will not be honored.
