Estimated attendance is 60 persons. Lodging and daily food costs (to include meals, breaks and receptions) may not exceed the US dollar Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JFTR) per diem rates in effect in Aug 2000 for Miami. Conference rooms, meeting areas, baggage handling and receptions are also required. The proposed contract action is for services containing physical security recommendations by the USSOUTHCOM, PPAS -- Analysis & Simulation Division, containing increased, high level, security requirements. A Limited Source procurement is anticipated. The following sources are identified by the USSOUTHCOM, Protocol Office, as approved sources, meeting the additional high level security measures required: Hotel Sofitel-Miami, The Westin Biltmore Hotel-Coral Gables, Hotel Place St. Michel-Coral Gables, Hyatt Regency-Coral Gables, and Omni Colonnada Hotel-Coral Gables. These approved sources may submit an offer to the Contracting Officer for consideration. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award.
