Pre-Solicitation Notice: Provide materials and services necessary for
the Renovations and Additions to Bldg. 100 & VES Bldg. at the U. S.
Coast Guard Base, San Juan, PR. The scope of the project for Bldg. 100
and VES Bldg. is to construct a 16,800 GSF two story vessel
electronics support building and a 9,000 GSF two story addition to an
existing 9,000 GSF operations building and renovations of the existing
operations building following completion of the addition. The
construction includes demolition of three existing buildings and
associated site work including paving, utility connections and
rerouting of existing underground telecommunications. All work shall be
accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 07-L4001 and 07-L4009
and Drawing No. 07-L4001 and 07-L4009. All work shall be completed
within 780 calendar days after Award. Plans (half-size),
specifications, and all necessary bid documents will be available on or
about August 10, 2000 and may be obtained by submitting a check in the
amount of $150.00 per set (non-refundable) made payable to the U. S.
Coast Guard. To receive a solicitation and be placed on the bidder's
list, interested parties must submit a written request and payment to
the U. S. Coast Guard. Telephone inquires will not be honored. The

DTCG47-00-B-3EFK15 is September 12, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. in Norfolk, VA.
The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000.00 and
$10,000,000.00. The solicitation is unrestricted IAW the Small Business
