Sequoia National Forest, involves constructing two trail segments --
one on the west side of Ten Mile Creek Bridge (965 feet) and the second
on the east (840 feet). The accessible trail will be paved, five to six
feet in width. Trail construction involves construction of 55 feet of
puncheon, installation of three 12-inch diameter culverts with metal
end sections, 50 feet of metal guardrail fabrication and installation,
seeding of all embankment and cut slopes, obliteration and restoration
of 150 feet of abandoned trailways and construction of 215 feet of rock
retaining wall. A three-inch paving overlay is also required on 675
feet of existing road; paving two existing trails to a six foot width
one being 1990 feet long and the other 410 feet in length. The
estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The approximate
start work date is Spring of next year with an estimated contract time
