The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, parts, equipment, materials, facilities, and transportation necessary to repair and replace miscellaneous roofs at military family housing, barracks, and administrative buildings at various locations on Fort Bliss, Biggs Army Airfield, William Beaumont Army Medical Center areas, Logan Heights areas, in El Paso County Texas. Work shall also be accomplished at various range locations in the Counties of Dona Ana and Otero in the southern part of the state of New Mexico. Work shall include but not limited to: removal of roof-mounted equipment, demolition of various types of existing roof membrane systems including gravel, felts, elastomeric systems; installation of new roof membrane systems such as build-up roofing with gravel, smooth, or mineral cap surfacing, strip shingle roofing, and elastomeric single-ply EPDM roofing, including felts, flashings and insulation; and reinstallation of roofmounted mechanical equipment. This proposal is unrestricted, multiple award, firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), with base year and four option years. The criteria for evaluating proposals shall be technical merit, management, and past performance. The solicitation due date is 07 September 2000. The magnitude total cost of construction for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The SIC code for this project is 1716.
