NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offers for the Rehabilitation of M-Area Bunkers (M-9,M-10,M-12 and M-14), at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: The removal and replacement of deteriorated steel doors and steel fronts; also the removal and replacement of concrete block retaining walls, concrete slabs and ramps. Electrical panels are to be relocated. The work shall be complete. It includes furnishing, as applicable, or may be required, all contractor's plant, equipment, safety devices, labor, tools, materials, supplies, and services, and performing all operations necessary for or incidental to a complete project in conformity with the drawings and as set forth in the various sections of the specifications. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00and the effort shall be completed within 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1542. The corresponding size standard is $17,000,000.00. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about August 8, 2000 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about September 7, 2000. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $50.00.
