Work consists of, but is not limited to constructing a mobile parting tail enclosure (MPTE) which can be placed over the tail of the aircraft after it has been positioned in the hangar, thereby providing complete enclosure of the aircraft. The structure consists of two three-sided boxes set on imbedded steel rails running parallel with the hangar doors. Each _box_ is equipped with motor-driven steel wheels that run on an ASCE rail imbedded in the concrete ramp. The two _boxes_ open in opposite direction to allow the aircraft to enter and exit the hangar and then the two _boxes_ come together at the hangar centerline to form an enclosure for the aircraft tail section. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
