This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3699 and the business size is 750 employees. Inspection and Acceptance: Origin. FOB Point: Destination. The Items to be quoted are: 1. One (1) each 1 Kilowatt CS, TWT amplifier with a frequency range from 1.7GHz to 2.5GHz-must (1.0 to 2.6 desired); 2. One (1) each Amplifier, 16-18 GHz. (Specifications may be obtained from Lucy M. Escudero by e-mail at lmescudero@arl.army.mil). The contractor shall submit a firm fixed price proposal. Any award resulting from this RFP will be issued on a Standard Form (SF) 1449 and will contain all clauses by law, the FAR, and the Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award.
