is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a
written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation document
and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through
Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 and DCN 20000606. This acquisition
is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial
Classification Code is 2542: Size Standard for small business is 500
employees or less. Submit written quotes (oral quotes/offers will not
be considered) to 47th Contracting Squadron, 171 Alabama Avenue,
Laughlin AFB TX 78843-5102 or FAX to 830-298-4878. On all quotes please
provide your CAGE code number. This is a Brand Name or Equal
requirement and the FAR clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999)
applies. Offerors of any Equal must provide descriptive
literature/brochures to this office for evaluation. Solicitation number
F41685-00-T0111 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) to furnish
the following item: Item 0001: Strong Hold model 46-18-2TSL two tier
slim-line personal locker or equal. This is a double tier locker
featuring an all-welded one-piece wrap around design. The lockers are
constructed of 12-gauge steel. The locker contains 8 individual storage
compartments. Each compartment has its own individual door with a three
point locking system. Each compartment opening is 10 inches wide by 32
inches high. The compartment inside-dimensions are 12 inches wide by
18 inches deep by 32-3/4inches high. The locker has 6-inch legs to
allow underneath sweep space. The overall dimensions of the locker are
50 inches wide by 72 inches high (78 inches high with the 6-inch
legs). The locker has an electrostatically painted gray finish.
Quantity required is17 each. In accordance with FAR 52.252-1
Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998), the
following solicitation provisions are incorporated by reference: FAR
52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999), FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to
Offerors -- Commercial Items (Mar 2000), FAR 52.215-5 Facsimile
Proposals (Oct 1997), and FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation_Commercial Items (Jan
1999) with the following evaluation factors: Price and Price related
factors, Delivery, and Past Performance. All Offerors shall include a
completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations
and Certifications_Commercial Items (Feb 2000). All provisions and

In accordance with FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb
1998), the following clauses are incorporated by reference and apply to
this acquisition: FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions_Commercial
Items (May 1999), FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required
to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Jun
2000), with the following blocks checked: FAR 52.232-33 Payment by
Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (May 1999).
The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required
to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense
Acquisition of Commercial Items (Mar 2000), with the following blocks
checked: DFARS 252.225-7000 Buy American Act and Balance of Payment
Program (Mar 1998). In addition, the following clauses are incorporated
by reference: FAR 52.246-1 Contractor Inspection Requirements (Apr
1984), FAR 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (Jul
1996), FAR 52.247-34 F.o.b. Destination (Nov 1991), and DFARS
252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (Mar 2000).

http://www.ccr2000.com. Confirmation of CCR registration must be
obtained before award can be made. Offers/bids are solicited only from
those offerors/bidders that are neither debarred nor suspended, nor
