CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA. Vessel length is 378 Foot High Endurance
Cutter. Vessel's minimum depth of water is 24 feet. This solicitation
is restricted to bidders within 200 nautical miles of the Cutter's Home
moorings located at 1050 Register Street, Pier PAPA, North Charleston,
SC, in accordance with the Commandant's Homeport Policy. Vessel's
availability is for forty-nine (49) days, starting 23 October 2000. All
reference documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street,
Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. A non-refundable charge of $150.00
is required, in the form of certified check or money order payable to
the U.S. Coast Guard, for requested drawings. Drawing are now
available on CD-Rom. The CD-Rom sets are available for all cutters and
will be free of charge to contractors upon request. This procurement
is subject to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All
Businesses, large and small, are encourages, to submit bids for the
subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be issued on or
about July 28, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which
shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. "ATTENTION:

The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program
(STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit
