The government intends to acquire, on a sole source basis from Raytheon Co., Fort Wayne, In., an extension to Contract No. DAAB07-98-D-A010 for 22 additional contractor-conducted training classes (operator 1 unit level maintenance and direct support maintenance (OPI UM and DS)) in support of PM MILSATCOM. The training classes emanate from the training plans and OPIUL and DS maintenance of the AN/PSC-5, Spitfire Radio Set (formerly known as the Enhanced Manpack UHF Terminal (EMUT)). This extension to the contract will be on a firm-fixed-price (requirements) basis for contractor-conducted training classes and Time and Maerials basis for the technical support and repair services.
