(410)962-2708 This proposed procurement is Set Aside for Small
Businesses, SIC 1623, Size Standard is $27.5 Million. Estimated cost of
construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Completion no
later than 365 calendar days. Work consists of rewiring of project to
update all wiring to pumps, valves and control systems, provide new
supervisory termination cabinet, replace some conduits and terminal
boxes, and install new monitoring system. the new monitoring system
will consist of two remote sites which will report the water conduit's
level to existing DPS SCADA system. Each remote site will provide two
4-20 mA signals coming from level transmitters to two local RTUs to be
installed inside instrument panels at each site. Utility power and
telephone service entrance will be provided at each of the two sites.
A new RTU will be installed at the DPS to communicate with the two
remote RTUs at the interconnection sites over a new multi-drop leased
telephone circuit. The new RTU at DPS shall be installed to collect the
four level signals from the remote sites and retransmit these signals
to the existing SCADA system for monitoring of the level in the raw
water conduits. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall
be considered by the agency. In order to comply with the Debt
Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered
in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for
award of a Federal contract. The initial registration date expired 31
