The US Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to procure efforts from Lockheed Martin Electronics and Missiles-Orlando to finalize design, fabricate and install Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (TADS/PNVS) kits. The kits will support an AH-64 aircraft engineering change to reduce interference from operation of the high frequency radio. The proposed procurement is for a basic quantity of 50 kits and will include an option for an additional 163 kits. Period of performance for the basic requirement is 24 months after contract award. Option would be excercised NLT Dec 02, with delivery of 10 kits per month, beginning 9 months after exercise of option. This is a sole source procurement. See numbered Note 22.
