Guess, (254) 742-9924 This service contract for rangeland mechanical
treament shall be performed by ripping the soil surface with a straight
shank at a depth of eighteen inches (18") on approximately 4,000 acres
per year. The shank shall not be wider than three inches (3") and the
ripping shanks shall be located directly behind the wheels or tracks
of the equipment. Minimum size of equipment pulling the shanks shall be
or equivalent to a Caterpillar: D6R, D7G, D7H, or D8. The pattern of
ripping shall be parallel to surveyed contour lines. Distances between
shank furrows shall average 10 feet and distances shall not exceed 13
feet or be closer than seven feet. Work performance of the contractor
shall average a minimum completion rate of 40 acres per day average
per week. Performance Time: Contract award to September 30, 2001 plus
four (4) option years. Estimated Value: $25,000 to $100,000 for the
base year plus $25,000 to $100,000 for each option year. Site Showing:
