The purpose of the modification is to increase the level of effort necessary to provide analysis, technical assistance and training to the HRSA Center for Managed Care and to HRSA Senior Staff on managed care concepts, systems and strategies. The contractor shall place particular emphasis on: a) financial aspect of managed care, b) evaluation of quality indices, c) concepts of disease management, and d) the relationship between quality care and cost of care, and clinical outcomes in managed care settings.
