The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with The National Association of EMS Physicians, PO Box 15945-281, Lenexa, KA, 66285-5945. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to implement activities to assist in meeting the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Five Year Plan objectives. The contractor shall: participate in the EMS PFC meetings; disseminate EMSC information to NAEMSP membership; assess pediatric and adolescent mental health emergencies within the out-of-hospital and emergency department settings; organize a consensus group meeting to address pediatric and adolescent mental health emergencies in the out-of-hospital and emergency department settings; and submit a final report. The National Association of EMS Physicians is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required workand services. The period of performance is one year.
