CONTINUED SERVICES TO THE OFFICE OF GENERAL COUNSEL The US Department of Energy intends to award a sole source simplified acquisition to Integrated Support Systems, Inc. (ISSI), 30 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, NY 11725 for continued services to the Office of General Counsel. This simplified acquisition will allow ISSI to complete the final stage of a development effort that started under Contract No. DE-AC01-95RG11529. The effort, approximated at five (5) months, is to web enable an existing PC based Financial Tracking application for availability to DOE field offices nationwide on an as needed basis. This action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This requirement is set aside for small business. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or to submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five (45) days after the date ofpublication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
