Y -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONSTRUCTION GENERAL R&A CENTRAL PLAINS DISTRICT SOL 193045-00-A-0050 DUE 083100 POC See below Solicitation Number:193045-00-A-0050, Offer Due Date:8/31/00, Time:3:00 p.m. CST Project:Indefinite Quantity Construction General R&A, Area:Central Plains, District, IQC-GENERAL R&A, Information and Evaluation Factors:Repair and Alteration and Maintenance of Postal Facilities. This will be an Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract (IQC-C) for minor repair and alteration and maintenance of Postal facilities in the Central Plains District area (IA zips 515-516, KS zips 664-666, 668-679, NE zips 680-693). If it is in the best interest of the Postal Service and agreeable to the contractor(s), the resulting contract(s) may be extended, by supplemental agreement, to include other areas. The contract will be for a one year period with four-one year renewal options. The total value of work orders may not exceed $5,000,000.00 over the life of the contract with a minimum $10,000.00 of work ordered over the life of the contract. No single work order may exceed $250,000 and a specific work order will beissued to specify the kind and quantity of work to be performed for each project. Multiple awards may be made from this solicitation. Evaluation Factors: Award will be made to one of more of the most highly qualified contractor(s) offering the best combination management plan, technical ability and price. Management plan and technical ability will be determined by past performance and references, including MBE/WOB participation, safety record, financial information, and other related items as listed in the Contractor Evaluation Package. Estimated that $300,000.00 will be charged against this contract. This does not obligate the U S Postal Service, it is only an estimate designed to help contractors in making an offer. Bonding will be changed in increments of $100K with amounts to be determined by the contracting officer at time of award and as additional bonding is required. Bonds and Insurance: Performance and Payment Bonds, certificate of public and automobile liability insurance, Worker's Compensation, and Employers Liability Insurance are required before award to the successor offeror(s). The successful offeror will be required to submit a subcontractor minority report each Postal quarter for each workorder issued.
