Martonick, KO, (805)989-1378 DESC: Provide and secure repairs to the fire alarm and protection systems for buildings 53, 53A and 53B, Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Point Mugu, California. The work includes installation of addressable fire alarm interface modules, initiation, releasing and notification circuits and devices, and associated electrical work, programming and acceptance testing for tie-in to existing Addressable Control Panel to expand coverage to entire buildings. Includes conversion of C02 systems to automatic release underfloor detection, pull stations, door release and waterflow switches throughout an access controlled building. Work includes removal of existing fire alarm control panels and sub-panels, remote annunciator panels, out-dated notification, initiating and release components, and Gamewell master box reporting and demolition of single room Halon systems and incidental related work. Access to buildings is restricted, contractor personnel must be a U.S. Citizen and able to read and comprehend the English language. This solicitation is for a duration of 180 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Code is 1731; the Small Business Size Standard is 7.0 Mil. The magnitude of this requirement estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. SITE VISIT information will be annotated in the solicitation package. Contract award will be based on the "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" process using criteria outlined in the solicitation.
