Z -- REROOF MAINTENANCE BUILDING, SAGUARO NATIONAL PARK, TUCSON, ARIZONA SOL Q8601000146 DUE 081400 POC Mikki Darr, 602-640-5250 Extension 227 The work of this contract consists of placement of a new metal roof including the standing seam membrain, insulation, and associated architectural details on the exterior of the maintenance building at Saguaro National Park, Tucson, Arizona. Work also includes preparation of the roof surface including demolition of the extant roof membrain down to the existing wood deck, and removal and disposal of all material. The work shall include the abatement of potential roofing material containing asbestas. An additive item of work will be replacement of existing shed on the exterior of the maintenance building with a new shed addition. This work includes removal of the existing shed addition structural members and roofing material, followed by placement of a new shed addition including foundation peers, steel columns, prefabricated structural steel trusses, roof decking, standing seam metal roof, and associated flashing and roof details. Award of the additive will be based upon fund availability. This project is located at Saguaro National Park (East Side). The East Side of Saguaro National Park is located on the east side of Tucson, Arizona. Take I-10 to the Valencia Road exit. Then east on Valencia to Houghton road. Proceed north on Houghton road approximately 8 miles to Old Spanish Trail. Proceed east on Old Spanish Trail to the park entrance. The maintenance area is located within close proximity of the Visitor Center, Rincon Mountain District.
