This requirement was previously issued under solicitation number F33601-00-B0018, which was cancelled. This synopsis is mainly for informational purposes. The scope of this project consists of furnishing all labor,equipment,appliances, devices, and materials and perform all necessary operations to replace the lightning protection systems to include air terminals, air terminal supports, main conductors, down conductors, and grounding electrodes for navigational aids. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
