Provide all labor, materials, equipment and plant necessary to upgrade the medium and low voltage distribution system by replacing deteriorated wooden poles with concrete poles and replacing aerial transformers with new dead-front loop feed pad mounted transformers. Replace 13.2 kV overhead primary conductors and poles at two road crossings to substation A & B with underground cables and concrete ductbank. Install primary ductback at one road crossing using saw-cut method. Reconnect existing pad mounted transformers and feed through to the new electronic kwh demand meters, primary and secondary concrete encased ductbanks. Replace existing secondary equipment including conduits and cables. Install secondary ductbank at one road crossing using saw-cut method. Install new panelboards, safety disconnects, double throw switches, dry transformers and electrical equipment at various facilities, new primary and secondary conductors. Replace and repair all disturbed areas of concrete, asphalt, block walls and grass for a complete and usable system IAW the specifications and drawings. Period of performance is 210 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued with 30 non-access days. Solicitation issue date of 7 Aug 00 and proposal due date of 7 Sep 00 are tentative. The applicable SIC Code and size standard for this acquisition are 1623/$17 M. The estimated range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation is unrestricted.
