vessel are of foremost consideration. V or deep-V hull of a planing
style is needed for extra stability, draft should not exceed 4 feet,
boat length will be approximatly 32 feet and beam will be approximately
12 feet. The bow of the boat will contain watertight storage area that
can be assessed from an enclosed cabin. Design must ensure that the
boat has shallow draft, but be particularly stable because gillnets
more than 1/2 mile long will be retrieved from the forward starboard
portion of the boat. The boat must be US Coast Guard approved. Boat
includes the main deck with an enclosed cabin, diesel engine,storage,
net lifting unit, etc. to make the boat fully operational. Offers will
be evaluated on 1) Overall boat design, 2) Past experience, 3)
Qualifications of contractor and it's personnel, 4) Contractor
Approach, warranty offered, plan to meet delivery schedule, quality
assurance, and 5) Price. The Boat is to be delivered to Yellowstone
National Park, 160 days after receipt of order, FOB destination.
