requires 3-channel accelerometers, 24 each, for 24-bit digital seismic
stations to be added to an existing seismic network operated by the
USGS, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and other
institutions, to enhance tsunami warning capabilities in the Pacific
region. The government's requirements are as follows: response from DC
to 200Hz, dynamic range of 120 dB or greater, supports full-scale
range of +/- 2.0g with +/- 10V single-ended user output, sensor
self-noise less than 10^-12 m^2/s^2/Hz from 1 Hz to 25Hz, operate from
single +12V power supply consuming less than 35 milliamps, hysteresis
less 0.1% of full scale, less than 1% cross-axis sensitivity, and
linear unclipped output for ground motion up to 2g over the stated
bandwidth. Units must have mounting hardware to secure to concrete
platform, leveling bubble or equivalent, facility for zero adjustment,
and be watertight. Delivery to Menlo Park, CA 120 days ARO. This
