For solicitations and/or plans contact Ruby Little at (803) 561-4017 or fax request to (803) 561-4004 The Francis Marion National Forest plans to contract for Manual Removal of Midstory in Red-cockaded Woodpecker (RCW) clusters and endangered plant sites in Berkeley and Charleston Counties, South Carolina. This will include treating 481.4 acres of midstory and applying herbicide to hardwood stumps in RCW clusters. This will also include treating 12.6 acres in endangered plant sites without the use of herbicides. A total of 494 acres will be treated for midstory.
