Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to repair the turbine shaft in Unit 4 at the Ozark Powerplant, which includes, but is not limited to remove the shaft, repair the lower shaft and re-assemble the unit. Shaft repair includes removing the upstream end, preparing to install a new (Government furnished) shaft end, welding the new end to the shaft, machining it, and applying a coating system on the unprotected surfaces. This solicitation is unrestricted and open to both large and small businesses. Solicitation will be on Compact Disk (CD-Rom) and provided free of charge. The solicitation will not be available in paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when determined to be in the Government's best interest. All documents required for the offer submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for submittal of offer will not be allowed. Solicitation will be madeavailable upon registration at the Little Rock Contracting Division internet website (address below)).
