This synopsis is not a Request for Proposals, but is a sources sought announcement issued only for information and planning purposes to identify potential sources for the performance of these services. The Department of State (DOS) office of Logistics Management, Travel and Transportation Management, (A/LM/OPS/TTM) processes claims submitted by employees of the DOS and the United States Trade Representative (USTR) and their authorized dependents, for damage to, or loss of personal property. For purposes of this requirement, the contractor's place of performance must be within a fifty-(50) mile radius of the Washington Monument. DOS seeks to identify interested parties who are currently performing these types of services. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) can be downloaded for this requirement and is available for viewing at the DOS web site (http://state.monmouth.army.mil/busopor.nsf and then by going go to Number and scrolling down until coming to S-LMAQM-00-I-0111. All interested vendors should respond to the Contract Specialist with the following information: 1) Company name, address, telephone number and a contact person 2) Business Size 3) evidence showing that you can or have in the past provided this type of service (example: references, past performance brochures, etc.) 3) any and all supplemental information which demonstrates an ability to meet the capabilities.
