U -- TEST PROCTOR SOL RFQ 11604-0277 DUE 091900 POC Kimberly Montgomery, Regional Contract Specialist  The Federal Bureau Of Prisons, United States Penitentiary at Terre Haute, Indiana intends to award a Non-Personal Services contract for Testing Proctor services. The contractor shall provide on a non-discriminatory basis the following duties: The contractor will adhere to all testing requirements while monitoring inmates who are taking the Official GED, Pre-GED,CASAS, SABE, ABLE or other placement tests necessary for providing the mandatory and optional Education Programs offered at the United States Penitentiary -- Terre Haute and the satellite Federal Prison Camp. The contractor must meet the following Base Qualification Requirements: A) The incumbent must possess a degree that included or was supplemented by supervising students. B) The incumbent must have a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's degree in the field of education. C) The incumbent must have at least 3 full years academic years of professional teaching and testing experience in a recognized or accredited school or institution. The Bureau of Prisons anticipates a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements type contract. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The contract will include a base year with four (4) one (1) year option periods for renewal, with an anticipated award date of October 1, 2000. Each year will consist of an estimated 480 sessions per year. The anticipated issue date of this solicitation is August 18, 2000, an anticipated receipt of offers due September 19, 2000.
