Chaverini Jr., 703 875-6645 The Department of State (DOS) has a requirement to seek a firm capable of providing receipt, inspection, inventorying, consolidation, export packing, temporary storage, and delivery to pier and related services connected with the forwarding of U.S. Government-owned furniture, furnishings, commissary items, supplies, personally owned and government owned vehicles, and equipment required by the Department of State for its Foreign Service Posts, and forwarding/receiving household effects (HHE) belonging to U.S. Government employees. . Unless otherwise specified, all Contractor deliveries are "FAS" carrier New York, New Jersey Port District. For purposes of this contract, the contractor's place of performance must be within a ten (10) mile radius of the U.S. Despatch Agency office in Iselin, New Jersey. The contract is to run for a base year and four (4) one year options. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside SIC Code 4783 size standard 18.5 million. The warehouse for storage, requires an estimate of at least 4645.15 sq. meters (50,000 sq. ft.), fully racked four high, 5574.18 sq. meters (6,000 sq. ft. cooperage/staging area.
