This is a Combination Firm Fixed-Price/Indefinite Quantity contract. The work includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, management, supervision, and incidental related work as required to perform scheduled and unscheduled family housing maintenance for Military Family Housing units located at the Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Arizona and in the city of Yuma, Arizona located at 16th Street Family Housing. -- The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision for managing the total work effort associated with all services specified and to ensure the timely completion of those services. Management and administrative functions include but are not limited to: work reception, self help program, planning, scheduling, cost accounting, report preparation, establishing and maintaining records and inventories, warranty enforcement, environmental management, and quality control. The purpose is to maintain all Military Housing and real property assets in a safe, sanitary, habitable condition, and in a good state of repair for the term of the contract in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, Environmental, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances. Specifications will be available on the Internet Site on or about 1 August 2000. Proposals must be received by 31 August 2000, 2:00 p.m., local time. Total duration of contract is 365 calendar days; however, four (4) one-year options may be exercised at the discretion of the Government in accordance with clause "Option to Extend the Term of the Contract -- Services (NAVFAC 5252.217-9301 (JUN 1994))". THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR 8(a) CONTRACTORS. OFFERORS MUST BE CERTIFIED AS 8(a) CONTRACTORS BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PRIOR TO SUBMISSION OF A PROPOSAL.
