The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for construction of concrete masonry unit walls in the wet bay and restroom of the research storage facility at EPA's Mid-Continent Ecology Division Laboratory, 6201 Congdon Boulevard, Duluth, MN. Work includes construction of approximately 152 lineal feet of 8-inch block wall and approximately 20 lineal feet of 4-inch block wall. All walls are 12 feet high. Contractor shall also furnish and install steel hollow metal frames and doors, along with associated hardware. A bid additive will also be included covering installation of plumbing fixtures and associated cold and hot water piping in the restroom. The anticipated contract performance period is 2 months after receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated price range is under $50,000. There will be no charge for solicitation documents.
