Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for Conversion of nine (9) three-story barracks buildings from a 2-pipe fan coil unit heating and cooling system to a four pipe system. Demolish existing piping and fan coil units. Work includes demolition/replacement of recently installed cabinetry to access piping in vertical chase. Other incidental work includes modification of makeup air system to fan coil units and installation of heat exchangers in some mechanical rooms. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet and CD ROM. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued as Internet only.
