Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) through the Program
Support Center, General Acquisitions Branch, intends to award a nine
month sole source Simplified Acquisition to the National Council on
Aging to produce a "turn-key" kit of tools that will enable aging
services organizations to conduct an educational program for staff and
clientele on substance abuse and some mental health issues for older
adults. The "turn-key" kit will include materials such as "The
Community Linkages Manual" that was developed by the National Council
on Aging. Refinement of learning objectives identified through earlier
focus groups and meetings with providers and consumers will be
included in the training materials produced by the National Council on
Aging. No solicitation is available. The expected date of award is
