commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are
being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This
solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. Submit offers on
RFQ012. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition
Procedures and is 100% set aside for small business (See Numbered Note
#1). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses
are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 (through
06/06/2000). The associated Standards Industrial Classification Code
(SIC) for this procurement is 3826 and the small business size is 500
employees. SCHEDULE: Advantage HR digital CCD camera system, as
manufactured by Advanced Microscopy Techniques., or equal.
Specifications: 1) High resolution F1.4 lens; 2) RS170 TV output; 3) 18
frames/sec refresh rate, with background correction; 4) 16 bit record
capability; 5) 8 or 16 bit "tiff" saving capability; 6) ability to
integrate with the computer supplied with a Philips CM10 Transmission
Electron Microscope for recording magnification, accelerating voltage,
and stage coordinates; 7) exposure control in real time to optimize
signal/noise ratio; 8) interface directly with Philips CM10 without
additional microscope modifications; 9) must have 1024 x1024 pixel
resolution;10) high resolution optics; 11) both slow scan and TV-rate
output for video conferencing. 12) Image acquisition hardware and
software must be compatible with Windows 95; enable 12 bit data
acquisition for 4096 gray levels and be Year 2000 compliant. FOB Point
shall be Destination, Hamilton, MT. Inside delivery shall be 30 days
after receipt of order (ARO). Delivery location is Rocky Mountain
Laboratories, 903 S. 4th Street, Hamilton, MT 59840. The following FAR

Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. Warranty
information, to include period and coverage, shall be stated. Award
will be based on the capability of the item offered to meet the agency
need [compatibility with a Philips CM10 Transmission Electron
Microscope] and price.; Offeror must include a copy of the software
licensing agreement with their offer. On-site installation and training
