(410)962-2708 This proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small
business. The Government intends to procure through Simplified
Acquisition Method (commercial items). The SIC Code is 2819 and the
small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The cationic organic
polyelectrolyte provided must be a poly (diallyldimethylammonium
chloride) herein referred to as polyDADMAC. The polyDADMAC must be in
liquid emulation form, easily applied by metering pumps and water
miscible. It must be free from visible foreign matter and sediment. It
must be suitable for use with potable water. It must be effective over
a broad pH range. The polyDADMAC must freeze thaw stable and require
nothing more than agitation to place thawed material back into useable
form. The polyDADMAC content should be a minimum of 20% by weight of
polymer in the product. Contract is for a one-year period beginning 1
October 2000 through 30 September 2001. The total estimated amount is
between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. It is imperative that all small
disadvantaged businesses contact their cognizant Small Business
Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business
Certification. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a
federal agency, can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified
SDB contractors/subcontractors. In order to comply with Debt Collection
Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the
Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a
