The purpose of this contract is to procure a DSX SW2 Computer System, including DSX PEN 1100 Digital Signature Capture Card, DSX Digital Card Encoder, Direct Print Card ISO-30. Included in the procurement is a DSX Pro 81862 Fargo High Speed Dual Side Printer 16M RAM, DSX 81518 Print Head Cleaning Kit, DSX 81740 250 Print 6 Panel Color Ribbon, and annual maintenance, including parts and labor for three years. The Department of Energy intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Smith Alarm System is the only source that can provide the services required as the equipment is proprietary and necessary to maintain compatibility. No other sources will be considered.
