B -- HISTORIC RESOURCE STUDY, LINCOLN BOYHOOD NATIONAL MEMORIAL, INDIANA SOL RP630000039 DUE 091300 POC Patsy Ferguson, Contracting Officer, 219-926-7561, ext. 436 The National Park Service seeks professional historical research to accomplish a historic resource study (HRS) for Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, with park headquarters in Lincoln City, Indiana 47522. The HRS will provide an historical overview of the park and immediate geographical region and identifies and evaluates cultural resources within historic contexts. It will include the collection, evaluation, synthesis, and presentation of data and research findings concerning the area's historic resources (including but not limited to structures, sites, objects, districts, cultural landscapes, complexes, and historic functions). Included within the HRS will be the preparation of cultural resources base maps and revision of an existing parkwide National Register Places nomination. The project will be in two phases, with phase 2 contingent on satisfactory completion of phase 1 and the availability of funding. Selection will be based on criteria published in the solicitation. Solicitation will be issued on or about August 18, 2000 and close on or about September 13, 2000. Submissions shall be in accordance with the Request for Proposal.
