Stewart (202)307-3070 This modifies the previous notice issued on or about July 5, 2000, for the provision of Residential Community Corrections Center Services for male and female offenders in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area (Calcasieu Parish). This solicitation if for adult offenders, not juvenile offenders as originally advertised. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center," dated January 2000. A requirements contract is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days are 8,760 for the two-year base period and 4,380 for each of the three one-year option periods (75% male and 25% female). The estimated RFP issue date is September 1, 2000 and the estimated closing date is November 1, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
