FISC Norfolk is seeking offerors interested in proposing on an OMB Circular A-76 cost comparison study of the FISC Norfolk Ocean Terminal which involves transshipment of Department of Defense sponsored export and import cargo. The operational areas include naval bases and commercial terminals in the Hampton Roads area. The preponderance of operations will occur at Naval Station, Norfolk. The services include arranging for and providing container freight station (CFS) operations, stevedoring, and related terminal services, including the labor, materials, equipment, and gear incidental to ocean terminal operations. Duties shall also include the handling of naval ordnance and explosives. Solicitation No. N00189-00-R-0035 is anticipated to be issued during the month of August 2000.
