Teat, Contracting Officer, (202) 307-0954 The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking sources capable of providing sewer services for a proposed Federal Correctional Institution to be located in the City of Bennettsville, Marlboro County, South Carolina. The facility will include housing to accommodate approximately 1,500 inmates, warehoue, space, and other generic institutional elements. The sewer services shall be available for tsting, with a connection by January 1, 2003. Permanent sewer service will be required for use by July 1, 2003. The Contractor shall be capable to provide the FCI with sewage service to accomodate up to an estimated 98,550,000 gallons of sewage on an anual basis, with an estimated average daily flow of 270,000 gallons. For the purpose of calculating the facility's sewage flow, the contractor may use acutal metered flows. Unmetered flows shall be billed at 85% of the recorded water consumption. Contractor shall be responsible for calibrating and monitoring the accuracy of the metering equipment.
