This contract is for the development and delivery of a training course to provide federal grantees with an understanding of design-build/operate project development. The two-day course will be offered to transit agency staff who are involved in design-build/operate project development. Participants may include project managers, construction managers, procurement and capital program managers, real estate and project finance professionals, developers, and planners. Since the Federal Transit Administration is on the horizon of implementing a New Starts Policy, this course should be designed to provide federal grantees with a detailed discussion on various aspects which are integral components in implementing the various phases of a design-build project. The contract will require a list of materials, course outline, curriculum and all materials, including a resource manual, presentation of a pilot session and delivery of the course up to forty (40) times during the four-year contract period. NTI will require proposers to have had experience in dealing with the subject matter as well as experience in developing training programs.
