Employment Readiness Program maximizes opportunities for initial and
continued employment of family members in the public and private
sectors by providing training on job search skills, assistance in
resume preparation, and career goal setting. Career development
planning is provided to overcome obstacles to career continuity imposed
by frequent relocation. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor,
supervision, transportation, supplies and equipment to operate the
Employment Readiness Program at Fort Richardson. The Contractor shall
implement the Employment Readiness Program (ERP) by providing
employment assistance to eligible personnel so that they may find
public and private sector employment. The Contractor shall provide
comprehensive, accurate, easily accessible, and up-to-date information
on available employment, education, and volunteer resources to
eligible clients as defined below. The Contractor shall conduct
classes, programs, workshops, seminars, and individual sessions that
strengthen individuals by imparting knowledge or skills in a broad
variety of employment assistance areas such as interviewing skills,
resume writing, dressing for success, building a career plan, career
opportunities, and personal career development. The Contractor shall
provide individual and group counseling to assist individuals in
assessing job skills and developing and implementing career goals. This
counseling helps individuals identify job strengths and weaknesses,
career/educational goals, and provides information about opportunities
available in the local area for personal and professional development
to achieve these goals. The Contractor shall maintain a private sector
job bank, which contains current job listings in the local community,
full and part-time private sector employment vacancies, nonfederal
summer and part-time employment, nonfederal seasonal employment
vacancies, and existing home business opportunities. A complete
