Solicitation will be issued on CD-ROM only. There is no charge for the CD. Est cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Construction duration is 365 calendar days. Design Build Project. Contractor shall complete the government supplied conceptual design, construct, and fit up 10,000 SF Military Police Station, at Ft Belvoir, Virginia. Project includes administrative areas, emergency operations room, detention cells, arms vault, interview rooms, storage, etc. The new facility will have sufficient HVAC, electrical, telecommunications, closed circuit television, parking, and other ancillary support services to meet the installation's requirements. This project is being issued as a competitive request for proposal and will contain technical evaluation factors that will be identified in the RFP. Award of a contract will be made on a best value basis. All responsible contractors may submit a proposal which will be considered. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal Contract.
