The electrical system modifications consists of modifying eight existing switchboards by installation of 125VDC to 120VAC, 5KVA DC to AC converters, installation of 20 CKT 120/240 volt distribution panels, installation of miscellaneous conduit, cable, and fittings as required, and removal of miscellaneous electrical internal components. Modifications to the system shall also include the installation of one 40KVA floor mounted inverter, two preferred AC power panels, and replacement of existing 125VDC lighting fixtures. Furnish a temporary 100 KW diesel generator set for backup power when work is being performed. The estimated cost range for this job is between $100,000 and $250,000.
