DESC: The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to replace wooden fencing with chain link fencing and gates at Nemetz buildings 720, 721, & 722 USCG Integrated Support Command, KODIAK, ALASKA. Work is to include removal and disposal of approximately 865 lf of 5-ft high cedar plank fence and twenty three (23) 3-ft wide cedar gates. Install 865 lf of new 4-ft high, green vinyl coated, 11 gauge (core) chain link fence, posts, and associated hardware. Install twenty three (23) new 4-ft high x 4-ft wide, single swing, green vinyl coated 11 gauge (core) gates, posts, and associated hardware. Restore landscaped residential lawns and areas to pre-existing conditions, to include re-seeding grass and touching up paint. Upon completion this fencing shall enclose a total of eighteen (18) separate backyards located at three each six-plex residences. Each individual residence shall have complete and usable fence and gates. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None Performance Period is 30 45 days. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to samples of paint color, laboratory data, MSDS's, references / applicator's qualifications. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: ASTM, CFR, MIL SPEC, FED STD, applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regs. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE MAILED ON APPROXIMATELY AUGUST 8, 2000.
