MEDCOM Contracting Center intends to award a firm fixed price contract for installation of Chlorine Treatment Facility at Well #15, Camp Bullis, Texas, using simplified acquisition procedures. The contractor shall provide all material, labor, supplies, equipment, transportation and supervision to install the treatment facility. The works includes but is not limited to demolition and capping connections to well #3, construct a water (chlorine) treatment facility at well #15, excavate, place a concrete building pad and install a fiberglass chemical feed building; install chlorine injection equipment, heaters, pumps, controls, and connect building power to existing power. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and electronic funds transfer (EFT)are mandatory for award and payment. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 9, 2000. The date, time, and location of the site visit will be indicated in the solicitation. The site will only be available during this time. All prospective contractors are urged to visit the site where work are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect their cost. DADA10-00-T-0177 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is set aside for small business. The applicable SIC codes is 1799 and related small business size standard is 7 million.
