Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, tools, supplies, and supervision required to prepare and paint interior of Dempsey Hall Building #284, U.S. Coast Guard Training Center, Cape May, New Jersey. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, preparing and repainting all interior wall surfaces, designated interior doors and frames, including those structural columns immediately adjacent to walls, in the rooms identified on provided floor plan and in accordance with the provided technical specificiation. Contractor shall be responsible for the protection of all existing room furnishings and wall attachments. Contractor shall also be responsible for moving all necessary furnishings adjacent to wall surfaces needed to complete the preparation and painting of the wall surfaces. Contractor shall replace all moved furnishings to their original location after project work in each respective area is complete. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 7 August 2000. Closing date for submission of proposals will be 1 September 2000. Magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. Davis Bacon wage rates for Cape May County, New Jersey shall apply. Bid bonds or payment bonds are not required.
